CAITIE’S FOSTER FARM

Founded in May 2021, Caitie’s Foster Fam is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue made up of passionate, animal-loving individuals with deep roots in the Houston rescue community. While the organization is new, the team behind it has been making a difference in the lives of homeless pets for over a decade.

What began with volunteering and fostering—often for pets with critical medical needs—quickly grew into a mission. With the increasing demand for experienced medical fosters, the team came together to create their own foster-based rescue, built on compassion, experience, and a commitment to the most vulnerable animals.

Caitie’s Foster Fam is entirely foster-based, meaning there’s no physical shelter—just a network of dedicated foster homes that provide love, healing, and second chances.

At the heart of it all is founder Caitie, who has been fostering complex medical cases in Houston for over ten years. Her leadership and heart continue to inspire a growing community of rescuers making a real impact—one animal at a time.
